Laura Cookson

Senior Partner
Graduated in 2001 from Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan with a first class degree, she made the short list for two academic prizes. Laura has had her work published in a peer-reviewed journal. In 2002 she was awarded the CCEP postgraduate qualification in the management of extremity conditions.

Laura has a special interest in sports injuries (and lists a current PGA tour professional on her patient list), the care of the elderly and back pain in industry. She has lectured to the Women's Institute and other interest groups.

As clinical director Laura is constantly exploring new treatment techniques and examines ways of improving the practice to the benefit of the patients.

Originally from Lancashire she now resides in the West Midlands. She has interests in most sports and is a very keen golfer.

Matthew Clancy

Graduated in 2001 from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan with a first class honours degree. He also won university awards for academic excellence and graduate of the year. Since then his academic and professional career has been impressive. He has had research published in a peer reviewed journal, been a contributing author to a leading chiropractic text book and completed a post graduate qualification (CCEP) in the management of extremity conditions.

Furthermore, Matthew is a lead lecturer for the Professional Golfers Association and the Golf Health Foundation. His work with the diagnosis and management of golf injury and associated swing faults has recently led to his invitation to contribute to a new textbook expected to be a best seller for the golf professional and clinicians worldwide.

Matthew's famous patients have included work with the WWE wrestlers, recording artists, professional footballers as well as golf professionals.

Personally, Matthew lists an interest in most sports, particularly golf and football, he is a keen family man and enjoys the challenge of cases that perhaps have proven difficult to resolve elsewhere.

Juliette Mallen

Associate Chiropractor

Graduated in 2007 from the Durban University of Technology in South Africa after completing a masters degree thesis in the study of tension-type headaches. Juliette was recognised as the best student overall in clinical and academic competence; she later returned to the university to lecture histology.

The General Chiropractic Council (UK) describes Juliette as an experienced practitioner who has the best interests of her patients at the forefront of all her actions; demonstrating excellent clinical reasoning and an evidence- based approach to chiropractic care.

Juliette is passionate about health; not just as it relates to the spine but to the body as a whole. In her daily practice she places an emphasis on posture, diet and simple lifestyle changes to encourage patients to thrive in life.

Juliette is an eternal student and loves to explore the ever changing terrain that the healthcare profession presents.

Outside of her professional life, Juliette enjoys the outdoors; sailing, walking and mountain biking with her family.

Tracey is a supremely efficient manager who joined the team in 2009 following an illustrious career in management in financial services.

She brings to the clinics a wealth of experience, efficiency and reliability.

She ensures that both clinics are able to provide a professional, caring environment that makes our patients feel really welcome.

My name is Dan and I am dedicated and ambitious Sports therapist at Lichfield & Tamworth Chiropractic Clinic. I have always envisioned myself working in a sporting background. I see myself as a very much people person who looks at helping people recover from previous or present injuries. I spent 3 years at university to gain a degree in sports therapy in 2018, and have since worked as a self employed sports therapist with patients from a variety of different backgrounds.

Massage techniques include, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and sports massage.

Having a genuine passion for promoting wellbeing, I approach my patients with empathy and compassion, as well as recognizing that every individual has unique preferences and concerns, I prioritize this client-centered approach, tailoring each massage to meet specific goals of the individual. Whether they seek relaxation, stress relief, pain management or injury recovery, i adapt techniques to deliver personalized and meaningful results. Continuous education and staying informed about the latest developments in healthcare keep me on the forefront of my profession.

Outside of work, my main hobbies include Football, photography and music. Im also a keen filmmaker.
